Send legal emailNextdoor offers a simple option for deactivation. Simply login to your account from a computer browser and navigate to the deactivation link. You cannot delete your account from within the mobile app. Please follow the steps below.
Step #1: Click here to open your Nextdoor account. If you're already logged in, doing so will open your Nextdoor homepage.
Step #2: Click the profile icon on the top right
Step #3: Click settings
Step #4: Scroll down and click deactivate your account
Step #5: Choose privacy concerns and click deactivate

Deactivating your account will remove your profile from Nextdoor and unsubscribe you from emails, but your past posts will remain visible in the newsfeed. Should you choose to return to Nextdoor in the future, you’ll be able to sign back in to reactivate your account. Deletion on the other hand cannot be undone. Deletion will permanently delete your account and all its data from Nextdoor. You will not be able to retrieve any of the content you’ve contributed to Nextdoor.
