Send legal emailDeleting your Linkedin Account is easy. You can delete your account from your computer browser or from within the mobile app.
Step #1: Click here to open Linkedin. If you are already logged in, doing so will open your Linkedin homepage
Step #2: Click the profile icon on the top right
Step #3: Click settings & privacy
Step #4: Click subscriptions and payments
Step #5: Scroll down and click closing your Linkedin account
Step #6: Choose other *and type *please delete my account *then click *next
Step #7: Type your password *then click *close account
Step #8: Congrats! Your account has been deleted.

Once deletion is complete you will no longer have access to Linkedin or any of your account information and your information will no longer be visible to others. However, Linkedin will retain your information as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations after deletion. Plus, if you log in within 30 days of deleting your account you have the choice to reactivate your account back to your previous settings. If you would like your information deleted sooner you can contact customer service by clicking here and your request will be answered within 30 days.

No. Deleting you Linkedin app will just remove the app from your mobile device. All of your other account information will remain intact. To delete your account you must redownload the app onto your phone and follow the steps for deletion.
