How To Delete Your Edmodo Account

To delete your Edmodo account you submit a request to delete your account from a computer browser. You cannot delete your account from the app on a mobile device. Please note, before deletion can be started you have to go to the account setting page and make sure you have an email address associated with your account.

Step #1:

Click here to open Edmodo. This will navigate to the Edmodo contact us page. Please select Account Types, Passwords, and Deactivations

Please select "Account Types, Passwords, and Deactivations"

Step #2:

Type the email address associated with your account

Step #3:

Type delete my account under what keywords describe your selection

Step #4:

Type I am requesting to delete my account under the how can we help section

Edmodo-Delete Account from Website. Step 4: Then in the “How Can we Help” section please write “I am requesting to Delete My Account”

Step #5:

Type deactivate my account under account types, passwords, and deactivations

Step #6:

Enter the device you are using to access Edmodo

Step #7:

Click Submit

Can I delete my account from the mobile app?
Answer:

No. You cannot delete your Edmodo account from within the app. To complete deletion you must navigate to the contact us page from a computer browser. You can only locate the page by clicking on the Contact Us link.

What happens to the information on my Edmodo Account when I Delete My Account?
Answer:

When a student account is deleted, all student work and grades associated with that account will be lost. This information will be wiped from the system.

Can I delete my information from a group without Deleting My Whole Account?
Answer:

Yes. You can submit a ticket to delete your account from a specific group without deleting the entire Edmodo account.
